Skipton having some fun in English
Skipton and The Day the Crayons Quit!
This week Skipton in English, have been reading the story 'The Day the Crayons Quit!' The crayons have all decided that enough is enough and they no longer want to be one of Duncan's crayons. They all write a letter to Duncan, explaining this. We have thought about how the characters are feeling and pretended we were the different crayons, we also thought about 'which crayon we felt most sorry for and why'? In maths we have been counting up to 10, 20 and 100. Thinking especially about the order of the numbers and those tricky teen numbers. We enjoyed making towers of cubes to 20 and then had to estimate how long a play-dough snake was in cubes? Click the attachements below to see more pictures.
