Experimenting with different Grades of Pencil
Tiverton and Carisbroke class have been learning about value (one of the elements of art). They learnt that shading within a picture shows light and dark. Without shading an image can appear flat. The students experimented with different grades of pencil to create drawings of noses, mouths and ears. They used HB, 2B and 6B pencils and a tortillon (blending stump).
