World of Work is an integrated programme, focused on building employment skills and opportunities, that is embedded throughout the school.

Some of World of Work takes place in the classroom, covering subjects from CV building, to finding a job, workplace behaviour, health and safety training and customer service. This includes external visitors from diverse organisations, who come to talk to classes about different businesses, roles and their personal career journey.

Work experience is at the core of the World of Work programme, and we run an busy and varied schedule of work placements, tailored around the students’ personal goals and interests.

Students may also undertake training and qualifications that relate to particular employment, such as a Food Hygiene certificates or corporate training programmes.
