Visiting the Rainforest
Today, Oxford class visited The Living Rainforest to learn about biomes and sustainability.
Lucy was our tour guide and talked about ‘Sustainable Future’
Lucy explored sustainable development and its impact for different people, places and environments, using specific examples from tropical rainforests.
We discussed the impact that human have on the planet and what we can do to help to sustain the important rainforests around the world.
We managed to see Cinnamon the Sloth having her breakfast. She enjoyed some parsnip, apple and her favourite sweetcorn! There were lots of free-roaming colourful birds, one of them could even bark like a dog. Luckily, some animals were in enclosures, like the Bird-Eating Tarantula, and the Carpet Python!
