Castle School COVID Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
As you will know, from Monday 17th May the country moves into the next phase of lockdown easing. This will include allowing 6 people or two households to meet indoors, the reopening of indoor hospitality and indoor entertainment along with the restarting of international travel.
It is wonderful news that we appear to be heading in the right direction. However, it will be even more important that we follow the protocols and guidance that is in place as the restrictions are lifted. Most things will stay the same at school for the time being and any changes will be risk assessed carefully before being announced.
As such, can I ask that you read protocols by clicking here or on the link below. For parents who drop-off and pick-up their children, it is most important that we all stick to the timings and the protocols on gathering on school site.
As a country, we are not in the clear yet, and I must ensure that our school staff, pupils and visitors remain as safe as possible during this time. By sticking to the protocols we stand a greater chance of getting out of these restrictions quicker and more safely.
I very much appreciate your continued support and hope that we can soon remove may of the restrictions we have in our protocols.
Best wishes,
Jon Hewitt
