One of our Post-16 students, Ricky, has spent the last three Friday afternoons make this amazing bench, made completely out of recycled materials. Ricky has a keen interest in carpentry and showed great skill and enthusiasm in creating this original design. It is made from wooden pallets. Ricky used measuring skills and problem solving to get to the end design. He really enjoyed sawing, hammering, drilling and painting. Ricky is willing to take orders and who knows, this might be the beginning of ‘Ricky’s pallet garden furniture’ business……… Watch this space!
